Director of Secondary Education (DSE), Kahilipara, Assam invites applications for filling up vacancies of Graduate Teacher for 2238 & 1484 Nos. of posts as approved by the Government in different Provincialised School from TET qualified candidates.

Name of the Posts: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)

Total Posts: 2238 & 1484 nos. of posts

Educational Qualification: M.A., M.Sc, and M. Com with minimum 50% from any recognized University, B.T./ B.Ed Degree from the institution recognized by NCTE. Candidate must be TET qualified with minimum 55% in each paper for reserved posts and minimum 60% in each paper for UR posts.

Medium of Instruction: No candidate is allowed to apply in Bengali or Hindi or Assamese medium schools if the candidates does not have MIL in Bengali or Hindi or Assamese respectively in the H.S.L.C. Examination or equivalent certificate/ diploma in Bengali or Hindi or Assamese language.

Age: The maximum age limit of the candidate as on 01-01-2019 should not be more than 38 years. There will be relaxation by 5 years for SC and ST candidates in the following examination:

• HSSLC Examination
• BA/ B.Sc/ B. Com Examination
• B.Ed/ B.T. Examination
• TET Examination

Pay Scale: PB-2, Rs.22,000 to Rs.87,000, Grade Pay Rs.11,800 and other allowances as admissible.

Important Dates:

• Issue of advertisement for filling up the vacancies: On or before 17/08/2019
• Last date of submission of application by the candidates: On or before 27/08/2019
• Complete of Verification/ Interview and preparation of select list by the School level Selection Committee: On or before 31/08/2019
• Approval of Select list by the District Level Selection Committee: On or before 04/09/2019
• Submission of select list approved by the DLC to the DSE, Assam for Appointment in the post of PGT and approval in case of Graduate Teachers: On or before 10/09/2019
