AAU  Jorhat is going to fill up the following vacant posts under respective Projects/Schemes presently functioning in different stations including Jorhat campus under Assam Agricultural University. 

1. Junior Administrative Assistant (Co-terminous) 
No. of Vacant Post: 03

Qualification: Graduate in Arts/ Commerce/ Science.

Pay Scale: PB Rs.14,000/- to 49,000/- Plus GP: Rs. 8,700/-



2. Field Assistant-III (Co-terminous) 
No. of Vacant Post: 03

Qualification: Graduate in Arts/ Commerce/ Science.

Pay Scale: PB Rs.14,000/- to 49,000/- Plus GP: Rs. 8,700/-



3. Laboratory Attendant (Co-terminous) 
No. of Vacant Post: 02

Qualification: Higher Secondary in Arts/ Commerce/ Science stream(10+2) or its equivalent Examination pass. 

Pay Scale: PB Rs.14,000/- to 49,000/- Plus GP: Rs. 5,600/-



4. Meteorological Observer (Co-terminous) 
No. of Vacant Post: 02

Qualification: Higher Secondary in Science stream (10+2) or its equivalent examination pass. 

Pay Scale: Rs. 21,700/- (As per Table5: Pay Matrix (Civilian Employees) of Govt. of India.



5. MIS Operator OPIU (Contractual)
No. of Vacant Post: 01 at Jorhat

Qualification: The MIS Operator must possess at least a B. Sc. (IT)/B. Tech. (Computer Science)/ Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA)/ three years Diploma in Computer Science or a closely related field.
Experience: The MIS Operator should have at least 4 years professional experience.

Remuneration: Rs.2.40 lakh to Rs.3.00 lakhs per year.



6. Office Assistant (OA) (Contractual)
No. of Vacant Post: 01 at Jorhat

Qualification: The OA should possess at least a Graduate (minimum three years duration) degree in any field from recognized University/ institution.
Experience: The OA must have at least two years experience.

Remuneration: Rs.2.40 lakh to Rs.3.00 lakhs per year.

Non-refundable Application fee of Rs. 300.00 (Rs.150.00 in case of SC/ST/PHD) candidates only) in the shape of A/C payee Bank Draft of a Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of the ‘Director of Research(Agri.), Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat-13’, payable at Jorhat must be enclosed with the Application for the co-terminous posts only. 

The candidates for the contractual posts under APART need not deposit Application fee.
