LIC India invites online applications from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment to the post of Assistant for performing the various duties of Clerical Staff including Cashier, Single Window Operator, Customer Service Executive etc. in Branch Offices of the Corporation under Guwahati Division

LIC Assistant Recruitment 2019 - Details:

Name of the Post: Assistant

Total Post (in Guwahati Division): 66 [SC-4, ST-12, OBC-15, EWS-6, UR-29]

Qualification: “Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) in any discipline.

Emoluments: Rs.14435 per month in the scale of (14435-840(1) - 15275-915(2) - 17105 - 1030(5) - 22255 - 1195(2) - 24645 - 1455(3) - 29010 - 1510(20 - 32030 - 1610(5) - 40080) plus other allowances as per rules.

Age Limit (as on 01-09-2019):

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 30 Years

Age relaxation is applicable as under:

• SC/ ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PwBD (Gen): 10 years
• PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
• PwBD (OBC): 13 years

Application Fee:

1. For Others: Rs. 510/- Intimation Charges + GST + Transaction Charges
2. For SC/ ST/ PwDB Candidates: Rs. 85/- Intimation Charges + GST + Transaction Charges
3. Payment Mode: Through Online

Selection Procedure:

Phase-I: Preliminary Examination - Total 100 Objective type questions of 100 marks. Duration 1 hour.

• English language/ Hindi language - 30 Marks
• Numerical Ability - 35 Marks
• Reasoning Ability - 35 Marks

Phase-II: Main Examination - Total 200 Objective type questions of 200 marks. Duration 2 hours 30 minutes.

• General/ Financial Awareness - 50 Marks
• General English - 40 Marks
• Quantitative Aptitude - 50 Marks
• Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude - 60 Marks
