Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) invites online applications from eligible Indian Nationals for appointment to the various Backlog positions of Non-Teaching staff.

1. Medical Officer (MO)

No. of post: 01 (OBC)

Qualifications: MBBS degree with minimum 3 years experience in reputed Hospital.

Pay Matrix: Level –10 as per 7th CPC (PB-3 Rs.15600-39100, GP- Rs.5400/- as per 6th CPC)

Age Limit: Not more than 35 years.

2. Students Counsellor

No. of post: 01 (SC)

Qualifications: Post Graduate qualifications in an appropriate discipline from accredited and recognized Institutions with specializations in areas of Counselling, Psychotherapy and/or Clinical Psychology.

Pay Matrix: Level-10 as per 7th CPC (PB-3 Rs.15600-39100, GP- Rs.5400/- as per 6th CPC)

Age Limit: Not more than 50 years.

3. Technical Officer Grade-II (Department of Design)

No. of post: 01 (ST)

Qualifications: BDes/ MDes or Masters in design relevant subjects & preferably with one year working experience.

Pay Matrix: Level-10 as per 7th CPC (PB-3 Rs.15600-39100, GP- Rs.5400/- as per 6th CPC)

Age Limit: Not more than 35 years.

4. Computer & Communication Centre

No. of post: 01 (SC)

Qualifications: BE/ BTech /MSc. in relevant subject preferably one year working experience.

Pay Matrix: Level-10 as per 7th CPC (PB-3 Rs.15600-39100, GP- Rs.5400/- as per 6th CPC)

Age Limit: Not more than 35 years.
