Name of the Post: Chief Financial Officer

Minimum Qualification: CA

Minimum Experience: 15 years. Candidates with hospital experience is preferable.

Type of Employment: Permanent

Report To: Chief Executive Officer/ Board


Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Develop, establish and maintain financial plans, policies and procedures for the hospital.
2. Plan coordinate and implement hospital cost finding system.
3. Install and supervise the hospitals statistical records on financial accounting system.
4. Devise and recommend new or modified accounting systems to provide complete and accurate statistical reporting.
5. Prepare and coordinate the hospitals statistical records on financial accounting system.
6. Prepare and coordinate responses to the internal audit and general audit bureau.
7. Oversee the presentation, production and interpretation of monthly and year-end financial statements including related reports required by the hospital management and/or Ministry of Finance.
8. Ensure the safeguarding of all hospital funds and bank guarantees; oversee all banking activities.
9. Coordinate with the concerned departments on their periodic physical inventories and costings.
10. Establish record maintenance and filing systems.
11. Perform other related duties as assigned.
