As per the notification published by Indian Navy, Online applications are invited from male candidates (unmarried) for enrolment as sailors for 400 vacancies (Approximately) for Matric Recruit (MR) – Oct 2020 batch.

Required Qualifications: Should passed Matriculation (HSLC) Examination from the Boards of School Education recognized by MHRD, Govt. of India.

Age: Candidates should be born between 01 Oct 2000 to 30 Sep 2003 (Both dates inclusive)

Pay & Allowances:

• Rs. 14,600/- per month (during the initial training period)
• On successful completion of initial training, they will be placed in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix (₹21,700 - ₹69,100). In addition, they will be paid MSP @ ₹5200/- per month plus DA (as applicable).

Selection Criteria:

1. Computer-based Examination: Total 50 Objective type (multiple-choice) questions, each carrying 01 mark. The paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English).
2. Physical Fitness Test (PFT): 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes, 20 squats (Uthak Baithak) and 10 Push-ups.
3. Medical Standards. 

Examination Fee:

• Applicants should pay Rs. 215/- 
• Payment Mode: online by using net banking or by using Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI.
• SC/ ST candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
