A Walk-in-Interview will be held on 18th November 2019 at 10.30 am in the Department of Cultural Studies for the appointment of 01 (one) Project Fellow on a temporary basis for the UGC sponsored project.

Project Name:  “Cultural Memory in NorthEast India: A Research and Documentation Programme on Textual and Visual Narratives”, under the scheme, Centre with Potential for Excellence in Particular Area (CPEPA) under the Chief Coordinator Professor Debarshi Prasad Nath, Department of Cultural Studies, Tezpur University.

Eligibility: Master’s degree in any discipline of Humanities & Social Sciences with NET. Besides, he/ she should be competent in any local language. The candidate must be willing to carry out field work across NE India.

Desirable: Adequate knowledge of computer is desirable.

Fellowship: ₹ 16,000.00 (Rupees sixteen thousand) only per month.

Age: Candidate shall be below 40 years of age.

Duration: Two (02) years or till completion of the project or until further order, whichever is earlier.

• Venue: In the Department of Cultural Studies, Tezpur University.

How To Apply: Interested candidates are required appear before the interview board with original and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10th standard onwards, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate (if any), certificate of NET or similar examinations, any other testimonials and a copy of recent signed Curriculum Vitae (CV) on the day of interview.
