Name of the Post: Head Constable (Assistant Wireless Operator/ Tele Printer Operator)

Total Vacancies: 649 Posts [UR-223, EWS-65, OBC-153, SC-126, ST-82]

Pay Scale: Level- 4 in pay matrix (Rs.25,500-81,100) plus usual and admissible allowances to the Central Government Employees from time to time.

Delhi Police Head Constable - Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: Candidates shall have to pass 10+2 (Senior Secondary) from a recognised Board with Science & Mathematics subjects. OR National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the trade of Mechanic-Cum-Operator Electronic Communication System.

Professional Requirements:

• English word processing speed– 1000 key depressions in 15 minutes.


• Basic Knowledge of Computer functions– Opening/ Closing of PC, Printing, MS Office Usage, Saving & Modification in typed text, photograph setting & numbering, etc.

Age Limit (as on 01-07-2019):

18 to 27 years for UR/ EWS candidates, relaxable for following category of candidates up to the age of:

• OBC- 30 years


• SC/ ST- 32 years

Application Fee:

• The application fee would be Rs.100/- only.


• SC/ ST Ex-Servicemen and women candidates are exempted from payment of fee.


• Mode of Payment is Online.
