Land Records and Surveys Assam 2020 : 6 Months Recorders Certificate Class Course (RCCC)

Land Records and Surveys Assam 2020:  Applications are invited from the intending candidates to undergo 6 (six) months of Recorders' Certificate Class Course (RCCC) training at the Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Rajahnagar, Dakhingaon, Guwahati-40 for the session 2020-21.


Eligibility for Recorders' Certificate Class Course (RCCC) training, Assam:

Educational Qualification: Candidate must pass HSLC examination or its equivalent as recognized by the Government of Assam.

Age Limit: Candidates must not be less than 18 years or more than 29 years of age on the 1 st January of 2020. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates only.


Plan of Selection Test:

Candidates whose applications are received in time and found to be in order in all respect will be allowed to appear in a written test to be held in the district headquarters.

Candidates qualified in the written examination will be eligible for appearing in the Viva-Voce to be held in the Directorate of Land Records & Surveys etc., Assam, Roopnagar, Guwahati-32 for final Selection for undergoing 6 (six) months Recorders' CertificateClass Course Training.


Standard of Examination:

Syllabus: The written examination will be of the standard of HSLC examination.  The question paper will consist of questions on the following:
(a) Arithmetic
(b) General Knowledge
(c) Assamese & Bengali language to test proficiency.


 UPDATED ON: 20/02/2020:  With reference to the Advertisement made under letter No.DLR/RCCC137/Advertisement/2019/57 Dated, Guwahati, the 27th January, 2020 which was published in the Newspaper dated 28.01.2020, following modification has been made:
"The process of selection of candidates for undergoing 6 (Six) months RCCC Training excludes candidates belonging to the districts falling under Council areas".




Land Records and Surveys Assam 2020 - How to Apply:

The candidates must submit their application in Standard Form to the respective Deputy Commissioners along with self-attested copies of all testimonials including 2 (two) passport size photographs in an envelope. The size of the envelope should be 25cm X 11 cm.

The application should be subscribed as "Application for Recorders" Certificate Class Course Training". The last date of receipt of the application will be 20.02.2020.

  1. Can I apply From Kokrajhar District ? I asked to Dc office about this advertisement, I got reply from them that they have no information on it ?
