Sports and Youth Welfare, Assam Recruitment 2020 - Details:
1. Sub Divisional Sports Officer (SDSO)
No. of Post: 01 (UR)
Qualification: Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce from a recognized University with a Degree/ Diploma in Physical Education or 3/4 years B.PE Degree (recognized by Govt.) from a recognized University/ Institution of Physical Education in India.
Pay Scale: PB-2, Rs.22,000 - 87,000/- + GP- Rs.9,400/-
2. Physical Instructor (PI)
No. of Post: 25 [UR-14 (7 for women), SC-7, STP-3, STH-1]
Qualification: Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce from a recognized University with a Degree/ Diploma in Physical Education or 3/4 years B.PE Degree (recognized by Govt.) from a recognized University/ Institution of Physical Education in India.
Pay Scale: PB-2, Rs.14,000 - 49,000/- + GP- Rs.8,700/-
3. Junior Assistant (HQ)
No. of Post: 02 (UR)
Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce from a recognized University.
1-year Diploma in Computer Application, knowledge in DTP, Excel. Word PowerPoint Presentation, Internet Browsing, etc.
Pay Scale: PB-2, Rs.14,000 - 49,000/- + GP- Rs.6,200/-
4. Coach
No. of Post: 03 [SC-1, STP-1, STH-1]
- Football Coach- 1 no.
- Mountaineering Coach/ Instructor- 2 nos.
Qualification:
(i) Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce from recognized University with one year Diploma in Sports Coaching from Netaji Subhash National Institute of Sports (NSNIS) or equivalent Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Coaching from any other institute recognized by Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India.
(ii) Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce from a recognized University with Diploma in Method of instruction Course andBasic&Advance Course in Mountaineering from recognized Institution.
Pay Scale: PB-2, Rs.14,000 - 49,000/- + GP- Rs.8,700/-
Age Limit:
21 to 38 years as on 01/01/2020. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of SC and ST Candidates and 3 years in case of OBC candidates only.
Selection Process:
Candidates will have to appear for a written examination to be conducted by the Selection Committee for fling-up the post of Jr. Asst. (HO) under the Directorate of Sports & Youth Welfare, Assam on the following subjects:
(a) English
(b) General Knowledge
(c) Arithmetic
The medium of examination will be English only.
- The short-listed candidates will be called for Computer Test and efficiency on MS-Word, Excel and PowerPoint Presentation.
- Physical Ability Test and Written Test for SDSO, PI & Coach will be held separately.
- Three separate written tests for the post of SDSO, PI & Coach will be held.
