1. Assistant Research Engineer

Essential Qualifications:
(a) Passed Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering.
(b) Secured minimum 55% marks or minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (MCGPA) of 3.00 in 4 point scale or 7.00 in 10 point scale at the Master’s degree level in disciplines of Agril. Structure & Process Engineering (AS&PE) / Post Harvest Engineering & Tech./Process & Food Engineering from an Indian or foreign university.
Pay Scale of the Pay: Rs. 15,600/-….Rs. 39,100/- + A.G.P. Rs. 6,000/- (Pre-revised)
2. Junior Scientist
No of Post: 1 (One)
Essential Qualifications:
(a) Passed Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering / Mech. Engg.
(b) Secured minimum 55% marks or minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (MCGPA) of 3.00 in 4 point scale or 7.00 in 10 point scale at the Master’s degree level in disciplines of Agril. Structure & Process Engineering (AS&PE) / Energy Engg. from an Indian or foreign university.

3. Food Technologist

Essential Qualifications:
(a) Passed Bachelor’s of Science Degree in any discipline of science.
(b) Secured minimum 55% marks or minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (MCGPA) of 3.00 in 4 point scale or 7.00 in 10 point scale at the Master’s degree level in disciplines of Food Science & Tech / Food Engineering & Tech. / Process & Food Engineering / Dairy & Food Engineering / Food Technology from an Indian or foreign university.

4. Agril. Biochemist
No of Post: 1 (One)
Essential Qualifications:
(a) Passed Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Agriculture.
(b) Secured minimum 55% marks or minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (MCGPA) of 3.00 in 4 point scale or 7.00 in 10 point scale at the Master’s degree level in the discipline of BioChemistry and Agril. Chemistry from an Indian or a foreign university.

Age limit as on 01.01.2020:
(i) 38 (thirty-eight) years (maximum)
(ii) The age is relaxable by the number of full years of service rendered in AAU/ICAR/CSIR/DST/SAUs and other Govt. Institutions up to a maximum of 5(five) years as supported by the relevant documents.
Application Fee:

- For SC/ST/PH Candidates: Rs. 150/-
Payment Process: Application fee is to be deposited at Powerjyoti Account of the University lying with the State Bank of India, AAU Jorhat Branch (A/c No. 33019714091).
For payment, a challan copy may be downloaded from the University website and fee-paid Challan copy is to be enclosed along with the application form.
