DEE Assam Notice For CTET Candidates 2020 - Assam LP UP Teacher Recruitment 2020:

The Criteria-I mentioned in the Advertisement for recruitment of regular teachers of LP and UP Schools under the Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam Vide No. EAA'SIU/125/2018/22 Dated 11/03/2018 and vid No. EAA/SIU/125/2018/31 Dated 11/03/2018 is hereby partially modified in respect of the candidates of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) only as follows:


"The candidates will be selected for the post of Teacher in the same medium school as per the Language-I or Language-Il selected in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for both LP Schools and UP Schools under Directorate of Elementary Education Assam."


All other terms and conditions of the Notice vide No. EAA/SIU/125/2018/376 Dated 23/01/2020 will remain the same.


The intending candidates who have cleared the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) only having all other requisite qualifications may apply online through the official website of DEE, Assam, i.e. https://dee.assam.gov.in from the Midnight of 1st March, 2020 to Midnight of 4th March, 2020.



There are 5515 Nos. of regular vacant posts of teachers in LP School as per Advertisement-A and  4120 Nos. of regular vacant posts of teachers in UP School as per Advertisement-B

Assam LP UP Teacher Recruitment 2020 - Details:

Name of Post: Lower Primary (LP) & Upper Primary (UP) Teacher

Total Posts: 9635
  • Lower Primary: 5,515 Posts
  • Upper Primary: 4,120 Posts
Pay Scale: Pay Band-2, Rs.14,000 – Rs.49,000/- with Grade Pay as admissible.


Age Limit & Relaxation: Candidates must between 18 years to 38 years of age as on 1st January, 2018. (Relaxation of upper age limit will be considered for SC/ ST candidates and persons with disability for 5 years as per norms).



Educational Qualification:


For Lower Primary Assistant Teacher:


(a) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-Year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-Year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
AND
(b) Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), to be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.

[5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST (P)/ ST (H)/OBC/MOBC & Physically handicapped candidates.]



For Upper Primary Assistant Teacher:

1. Assistant Teacher: BA/ B. Sc. from the UGC recognized University and UP TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education)

2. Science Teacher: B. Sc. from the UGC recognized University and UP TET qualified in Science and Mathematics stream. and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education)

3. Hindi Teacher: BA/ B. Sc. from the UGC recognized University having Hindi as one of the subjects and UP TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D.Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education)

4. Arabic Teacher: BA/ B. Sc. from the UGC recognized University having Arabic as one of the subjects and UP TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education)

5. Assamese Language Teacher: BA/ B. Sc. from the UGC recognized University having Assamese as one of the subjects and UP TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education)

6. Manipuri Language Teacher: BA/ B. Sc. from the UGC recognized University having Manipuri as one of the subjects and UP TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education)



How To Apply:

All eligible candidates are required to apply online through fill up online application which will be available on the DEE Assam official website i.e. https://dee.assam.gov.in from the Midnight of 1st March, 2020 to Midnight of 4th March, 2020.

Documents required to be uploaded:
  1. Passport Size Colour Photograph
  2. HSSLC Mark-sheet and Certificate
  3. Marksheet and Certificate of Degree (in case of candidates for the post of Hindi Teacher/ Arabic Teacher, shall submit all the Marksheet that shows Hindi/ Arabic as one of the subjects in Degree Level)
  4. DEl.Ed. Marksheet (1st Year & 2nd Year) and Certificate
  5. Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ ST(P)/ST(H)/OBC/MOBC)
  6. Certificate NCC (Only B or C Category only), Sports & Cultural (if represented state at National Level)
  7. Scanned Signature
  8. BPL Certificate from concerned authority, by BPL Candidates.
