Assam Police Platoon Commander Recruitment 2020: SLPRB Assam invites Online Applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of 40 existing vacancies in the rank of Platoon Commander under Directorate of Civil Defence and Home Guards.

Assam Police Platoon Commander Recruitment 2020 Details:

Name of the Post: Platoon Commander (under Directorate of Civil Defence and Home Guards)

Total number of posts: 35 + 5 [Male: 29, Female: 11]

Scale of Pay: Rs. 14000- 49000 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Rs. 8700 Grade pay plus other allowances as admissible.

Essential Qualification:

(i) The candidate must be a graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College / Institution affiliated to a recognized University.

(ii) Other Qualification: NCC ‘B’ Certificate OR Home Guards Training Certificate.

N.B. The persons having graduate degree but not possessing NCC ‘B’ Certificate OR Home Guards training Certificate are not eligible to apply.

Age Limit: 

Candidate should not be more than 38 years and less than 18 years of age as on 1st January 2020 (Candidate must be born on or before 01-01-2002 and on or after 01-01-1982).

Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by:

(i) 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST (H) and ST (P).

(ii) 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.

Application Fee:

There will be no application fee.

Process To Apply:

Only online applications will be received with effect from 23-03-2020. The last date for receipt of applications will be 15-06-2020.

The candidates who did not apply earlier in pursuance to advertisement dated 19-03-2020 due to non-completion of graduation (minimum Educational Qualification) at the time of advertisement or other reasons, can submit online application w.e.f. 17-08-2020 to 26-08-2020 through SLPRB website www.slprbassam.in.

However, the candidates who applied earlier in pursuance to advertisement issued on 19-03-2020 need not to apply again.
