1. Junior Project Fellow (JPF)

No of Posts: 1

Name of project: Development of allometric models for estimating volume and above ground biomass for important tree species outside the forest (TOF) in Assam

Emoluments (per month): Rs. 20000/- + HRA as admissible

Educational Qualification: First Class MSc / MA in Forestry / Botany / Ecology/ Agriculture / Statistics

2. Field Assistant (FA)

No of Posts: 1

Name of project: Development of allometric models for estimating volume and above ground biomass for important tree species outside the forest (TOF) in Assam

Emoluments (per month): Rs. 17000/-  (fixed)

Educational Qualification: 10+2 (Science)

3. Junior Project Fellow (JPF)

No of Posts: 1

Name of project: Assessment of demand and supply of timber, fuel-wood and fodder in India [AICRP-12]

Emoluments ( per month): Rs. 20000/- + HRA as admissible

Educational Qualification: First Class MSc / MA in Forestry / Environmental Science / Ecology/ Economics / Statistics

4. Junior Project Fellow (JPF)

No of Posts: 4

Name of project: Forest Fire Research and knowledge management [AICRP-14]

Emoluments ( per month): Rs. 20000/- + HRA as admissible

Educational Qualification: First Class MSc in Botany/ Agriculture / Forestry / Environmental Science / Soil Science / Geology.

5. Junior Project Fellow (JPF)

No of Posts: 1

Name of project: Spring Rejuvenation for Water Security in Himalaya

Emoluments ( per month): Rs. 20000/- + HRA as admissible

Educational Qualification: First Class M.Sc. in Geology / Earth Sciences / Civil / Environmental Sciences

Age Limit as on 31.10.2020: 28 years. As relaxation is as per rules.

Selection Procedure: A walk-in-interview is scheduled to be held on 23.11.2020 from 10:30 AM onwards at Rain Forest Research Institute (RFRI), Deovan, Jorhat-785001.
