APSC Recruitment 2021 Details:
1. Exploration Officer (Grade-II)
No. of Post: 2 (UR)
Department: Directorate of Archaeology, Assam under Cultural Affairs Department.
Scale of Pay: Rs. 22,000/- to 97,000/-, Grade Pay- Rs. 11,800/-, PB- 3
Education Qualification: Post Graduate Degree holder in Ancient Indian History or Archaeology or Sanskrit or Anthropology with Pre-History as one of the subjects.
Desirable Qualification: Post Graduate Diploma in Archaeology from any Govt. recognized Institute.
Desirable Experience: Experience in Archaeological field works in a Govt. recognized Institution especially in Archaeological Exploration and Excavation.
Physical Fitness: The candidate for direct recruitment shall be:
(i) Of sound health, both mentally and physically.
(ii) Required to undergo medical examination before appointment to Service.
2. Asstt. Research Officer (ARO) /Asstt. Planning Officer (APO)
No. of Post: 9 [UR-3, OBC/MOBC-2, SC-1, STP-1, STH-1, EWS-1]
Department: Planning Services under Transformation and Development Department, Assam.
Scale of Pay: Rs. 22,000/- to 97,000/-, Grade Pay- Rs. 11,800/-, PB- 3
Education Qualification: The minimum academic qualification required in respect of the post of Assistant Research Officer/Assistant Planning Officer shall have 2nd Class Masters Degree in any of the following subjects of a recognized University viz: Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, Business Management, Business Administration, Sociology, Social Work, Anthropology, Social Anthropology.
Note: Experience in Economics Research and in Planning Activities in Govt. and Non-Govt. Institutions of repute is desirable.
Eligibility Criteria of APSC Recruitment:
Residenship: The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam. As a domicile proof of the candidate, one of the documents viz. PRC/Voter ID card/Employment Registration need to be enclosed.
N.B.: State Govt. employees of Assam need not submit any documents regarding domicile proof, however, they will have to submit No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective employer.
Age: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2021.
The upper age limit is relaxable :
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years.
(iii) For Persons with Disability (PWD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category
of candidate.
