Income Tax Department Recruitment 2021 Details:
1. Income Tax Inspector
No. of Post: 01
Pay: PB- 9300-34800, GP-4600
Qualification: Degree from a recognized University or equivalent
2. Tax Assistant
No. of Post: 04
Pay: PB-5200-20200, GP-2400
Qualification:
(i) Degree from a recognized University or equivalent
(ii) Having Data Entry Speed of 8,000 Key depressions per hour
3. Stenographer Grade-II
No. of Post: 03
Pay: PB-5200-20200, GP-2400
Qualification:
(i) 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized board or university.
(ii) Dictation: 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute.
(iii) Transcription: 50 words per minute (English) or 65 words per minute (Hindi) (Only on Computer)
4. Multi Tasking Staff
No. of Post: 06
Pay: PB-5200-20200, GP-1800
Qualification: 10th class pass or equivalent from a recognized board or university,
Age Limit of Income Tax Department Sportspersons Recruitment 2021:
• For Inspector of Income Tax : 18 to 30 years of age
• For Tax Assistant/Stenographer/ Multi Tasking Staff : 18 to 27 years of age
Relaxation of Age:
• 5 years for General/OBC candidates
• 10 years in case of SC/ST candidates
Sports Eligibility for Income Tax Department Recruitment:
Appointment can be made of a sportsperson considered meritorious with reference to the following criteria:-
(i) A State or the Country in a National or International Competition in any of the games/sports as mentioned below.
(ii) Their University in the Inter-University Tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Board in any of the games/sports as mentioned below.
(iii) The State Schools Team in the National Sports/Games for schools conducted by All India School Games Federation in any of the games/sports as mentioned below.
(iv) Sportsperson who has been awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency under National Physical Efficiency Drive.

1 Male 100 Meters Hurdles.
1 Male 800/1500 Meters.
1 Male Discuss Throw/Shot Put.
2. Kabaddi: 1 Male (Left Corner)
3. Football: 3 Male (One Defender, One Striker & One Half)
4. Hockey:
1 Male (Goalkeeper)
1 Female (Forward)
5. Golf: 1 Male
6. Body Builder: 1 Male (Category above 80 Kg)
7. Cricket: 3 Male (1 Medium/Fast Bowler, 1 Medium/Fast Bowler cum All rounder & 1 Wicket Keeper cum batsman)
How to Apply for Income Tax Department Recruitment:
Applications must be submitted in following format addressed to: The Deputy Commissioner of Income-tax (Hqrs.- Personnel), Room No. 378A, C.R. Building, I.P. Estate, New Delhi-110 002 by post/ by hand on or before 15.04.2021.
The applicant shall enclose attested copies of the following certificates:
(i) Matriculation/SSC or equivalent certificate for proof of age.
(ii) Certificates of Educational qualifications.
(iii) Sports/games certificates as mentioned at S.No. 05 above.
(iv) SC/ST/OBC caste certificate.
(v) Copy of Aadhar Card
(30.04.2021 for candidates domiciled in North Eastern States, Andaman Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala).
