Assam Polytechnic Admission Test 2021 - [PAT 2021]:

The Notification of Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) 2021 has been released by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam. Students may apply online for admission into Diploma Courses in the following State Government Polytechnics of Assam and Polytechnics outside Assam (against seat allotted by the Govt. of India’ Assam Energy Institute, Sibsagar) for the session 2021-2022.

Submit Sports Certificates  updated on 13-08-2021  :

It is for information to all conærned that the candidates who have already online for Registration to appear Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT)-2021 against NCC and Sports quota have to submit their documents w.e.f. 16th to 31st August, 2021 at polytechnic2021.nccsports@gmail.com as follows:- 

For Sports quota :- Scan copies Of all documents along with a copy Of Certificate from the Director of Sports, Assam. 

For NCC quota : Scan copies of all dcxwments i.e. camp attendanæ certificate along with NCC Examination Certificate received from the Commanding Officer, National Cadets Corps or higher level. 

For both NCC & SPORTS quota : scan copy of PAT-2021 admit card. Please note: If a candidate fails to submit their documents in the stipulated time, his / her category against NCC / Sports quota will be automatically cancelled. 

Re-opening of Online Application  updated on 08-08-2021  :

In continuation of this office earlier Educational notice published in the leading newspapers vide No. Janasanyog/D/167/21 dated 05/05/2021, it is hereby brought to the notice of all concerned that the date of online application Registration in respect of POLYTECHNIC ADMISSION TEST[PAT] 2021 has been re-opened and extended from 8th to 10th August, 2021.

Important Note:- The said notification may be modified as per the guidelines issued by the Government for the present pandemic COVID-19 situation.

Assam Polytechnic Admission Test 2021 Details:

Name of Course: 3 Year Diploma Course

Name of Test: Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) 2021

Session: 2021-22

Test conducted by: Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam

Test Centres: Selected centres at Mangaldoi, Tezpur and in Government Polytechnics/ Institutions of Assam.

Date of Test: 22 August 2021 (Sunday)

Time of Test: 10 AM to 12 Noon (2 Hours)

Type of Questions: Multiple choice questions (MCQs)

Eligibility Criteria of Assam Polytechnic Admission Test:

Citizenship: Candidates must be a permanent citizen of Assam.

Educational Qualification: Candidate must pass the HSLC or its equivalent examination with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subject with-

• 40% marks (average) in Mathematics and Science for General Candidates.

• 35% marks (average) in Mathematics and Science for Schedule Caste Candidates.

• 33% marks (average) in Mathematics and Science for Scheduled Tribes Candidates.

Age Limit:

The maximum age limit is as given below for each categories-

• General: 20 years 6 months as on 31.12.2021.

• Schedule Caste/ Schedule Tribe: 23 years 6 months as on 31.12.2021.

• For institutions outside Assam: 20 years 6 months as on 31.12.2021 (irrespective of category).

Application Fee of Assam Polytechnic Admission Test:

An application fee of Rs.500/- (plus bank charges as applicable) is to be paid using “State Bank Collect” which facilitates payment through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking. Payment may also be made in cash at any branch State Bank of India after generating the Cash Deposit Form from “State Bank Collect’ in final step of Online Application. Further instructions will be available during the online application process.

• Re-opening date of submission of online application: 8th August 2021

• Last date of submission of online application: 10th August 2021

• Issue of admit cards: 14th August 2021

• Date of PAT 2021: 22nd Augsut 2021
