NHM Assam has released the official notification of One Year Compulsory Rural Posting for all doctors who have passed MBBS course and completed their compulsory rotating internship in 2025-2026 (till date) from the Medical Colleges of Assam. Interested doctors may apply online at nhm.assam.gov.in.

Eligibility Criteria: MBBS degree from a Govt. recognized Medical College of Assam and registered with Assam Medical Council (AMC).
Remuneration: Rs. 38,500/- per month

How to Apply for NHM Assam Compulsory Rural Posting 2025
Eligible MBBS doctors can apply online for the compulsory rural posting through the website https://nhm.assam.gov.in up to 20th May 2025.
The candidates shall upload & submit scanned copies of all original testimonials for verification (One Identity Proof, All MBBS Marksheets, AMC/MCI Registration & Internship Completion Certificate).
The candidates shall bring all original testimonials for verification along with a set of self-attested photocopies of the testimonials to appear the counselling. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the counselling.
