PHED Assam Recruitment 2021 Notification:
Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Assam has released a job advertisement for the recruitment of 111 Junior Engineer (Civil Engineering) vacancy in Public Heath Engineering Department (PHED), Government of Assam. Eligible candidates may apply online at https://phe.assam.gov.in.
Notice - Regarding Rectification of Data Updated on 21-08-2021 :
It is hereby informed to all the registered candidates who have filled up the application for recruitment of 111 nos. of Junior Engineers (Civil) under 3(f) regulation in PHE Department that the online web portal will be opened for rectification of data for 7 (seven) days starting from 21.08.2021 at 10.00 AM to 27.08.2021 till 5:00 PM. All the registered candidates are requested to go through the following websites — www.phe.assam.gov.in & www.jjmassam.in.

Eligibility Criteria of PHED Assam Recruitment:
Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2021.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable -
i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e., up to 43 years
ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e., up to 41 years
(iii) For Persons with benchmark disabilities by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC/MOBC and OC candidates
Educational Qualification: 3 (three) years Diploma Course in Civil Engineering from an institution recognized by AICTU. Mere acquiring of higher degrees will carry no weightage.
Resident-ship:
(i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
(ii) The Candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose as a proof of residency along with the application form
Or
(iii) The candidate must produce registration certificate of Employment Exchange in the state of Assam along with the application form
Screening / Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted and selected on the basis of merit as per academic, performance.
