NIPER Guwahati Recruitment Details

1. Professor

No of Posts: 02 (UR)

Educational Qualification:

• Post 1: Ph.D., in Pharmaceutical Sciences/Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/ Medicinal Chemistry/Natural Product Chemistry, or equivalent with a first-class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree (M.Pharm/MS/M.Sc.) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or Natural Product Chemistry with a very good academic record throughout and at least 10 years of teaching, research, or industrial experience with published works of high quality. Well-recognized and established reputation for having made a conspicuous seminal contribution to knowledge in the above areas.

• Post 2: Ph.D. in Biotechnology/Bioscience & Bio-engineering/Life Sciences/Biomedical Sciences with First class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree (M.Pharm/MS/M.Tech/M.Sc.) in Biotechnology/ Bioscience & Bio-engineering/Life Sciences/Biomedical Sciences with a very good academic record throughout and at least 10 years of Teaching/Research/Industrial experience with published works of high quality. Well recognized and established reputation of having made conspicuous seminal contribution to knowledge in Pharmaceutical and allied areas.

Pay: Rs. 1,44,200/-

Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 years.

2. Assistant Professor

No of Posts: 03 (UR/SC/ST: 1 each)

Educational Qualification:

• Post 1: Ph.D. in Biotechnology/Bioscience & Bioengineering/Life Sciences/Biomedical Sciences with a first-class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree (M.Pharm/MS/MTech/M.Sc.) in Biotechnology/Bioscience & Bio-engineering/Life Sciences/Biomedical Sciences with a very good academic record throughout and at least 5 years of teaching, research, or industrial experience with published works of high quality.

• Post 2: Ph.D. in Biotechnology/Bioscience & Bio-engineering/Life Sciences/Biomedical Sciences with First class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree (M.Pharm/MS/M.Tech/M.Sc.) in Biotechnology/Bioscience & Bio-engineering/Life Sciences/Biomedical Sciences with a very good academic record throughout and at least 5 years of Teaching/Research/Industrial experience with published works of high quality.

• Post 3: Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences with First class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree (M.Pharm/MS/M.Sc) in Pharmacy practice, Hospital pharmacy, Clinical pharmacology, Clinical epidemiology, Pharmacology & Toxicology with a very good academic record throughout with 5 years of Teaching/Research/Industrial experience with published works of high quality.

Pay: Rs. 78,800/-

Age Limit: Not exceeding 40 years.

3. Scientist/Technical Supervisor Grade-I

No. of Posts: 01

Educational Qualification: M.Sc./M. Pharmacy/M.V.Sc. from a recognized university or institute.

Experience: 4 (four) years of experience in research and teaching in Central State Govt. Organizations, Universities, Research Institutions, Central/State autonomous institutions, or other recognized institutions of repute.

Pay: Rs. 53,100/-

Age Limit: Not exceeding 40 years.

4. Assistant Grade-I

No. of Post: 01

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized institute or university.

Experience: Experience of noting and drafting in Central/State Govt./Organizations/PSUs/ Universities/Research Institutions or Central/State autonomous other recognized institutes of repute.

Pay: Rs. 29,200/-

Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years.

Other Criteria of NIPER Guwahati Recruitment

 

Age Relaxation:

 

• SC/ST: 5 years

• OBC: 3 years

• PwD (Unreserved): 10 years

• PwD (OBC): 13 years

• PwD (SC/ST): 15 years 

Application Fee: Fee of Rs.1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) for both the Teaching and Group-A officers (from Pay level 10 and above) and Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) for other non- teaching posts has to be paid through the link provided inside the portal. No fee is required for the candidates belonging to SC/ST, PwD category.
