DHE Combined Merit Scholarship Amount
Selected students for this scholarship scheme will be awarded the financial assistance listed below till the completion of their course.

Required Qualification for Assam Combined Merit Scholarship
UG course: 60% in Higher Secondary for those who apply for Combined Merit Degree Scholarship scheme
PG course: 60% in General Degree Course for those who apply for Combined Merit Master Degree Scholarship scheme
Other Eligibility Criteria of Combined Merit Scholarship
Type of Course: Students pursuing General Degree and Master Degree course in Arts/ Science/ Commerce discipline in any recognized institution for the session 2024-2025 are eligible for the schemes.
Residentship: The student must be a domicile of Assam (PRC document mandatory)
Bank Account: The Students must have valid (up-to-date) Bank Account in their name (Preferably in SBI) and details to be submitted alongwith the application (Bank Name, A/c Number, Branch Name, IFSC Code)
• Scholarship shall be disbursed through DBT system to the beneficiaries.
• The Candidate should possess the relevant qualification from any recognized Institution.
• Selection will be made strictly on the basis of merit in all cases and also to be restricted as per budget allocation.
How to Apply for DHE Assam Combined Merit Scholarship 2025
Intending students fulfilling the above mentioned criteria must apply online for DHE Combined Merit Scholarship Scheme 2025 at www.directorateofhighereducation.assam.gov.in in between 8th November to 6th December 2025 and take printout after online submission and submit it to the Registrar/ Principal/ Head of the Institute along with the necessary copies of certificates/ testimonials.
The Registrar/ Principal/ Head of the Institution shall verify the application and submit the documents (Hard copies of online form alongwith all relevant certificates/ testimonials) to Directorate of Higher Education, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati — 781019 under his seal and signature on or before 6th December 2025 positively.
Documents to submit with DHE Scholarship Application:
➢ Certificate from the Registrar/ Head of the Institution in which the candidate is currently studying (mandatory).
➢ Photo copy of 1st page of Active Bank Account.
➢ Final Marksheet of last qualifying Examinations (i.e. H.S./U.G.).
➢ Photograph and Signature of the Candidate.
➢ Aadhaar Card.
➢ Photo copy of 1st page of Active Bank Account.
➢ Final Marksheet of last qualifying Examinations (i.e. H.S./U.G.).
➢ Photograph and Signature of the Candidate.
➢ Aadhaar Card.
