Gauhati High Court Recruitment Details
1. Chauffeur (Driver)
No. of Post: 1 [UR]
Scale of Pay: PB-2, Rs.14000-70000/-, Grade Pay: 5200/- and other allowances admissible as per Rules.
2. Multi Tasking Staff (MTS)
No. of Post: 1 [UR]
Scale of Pay: PB-1, Rs.14000-52000/-, Grade Pay: 3900/- and other allowances admissible as per Rules.
Eligibility Criteria of Gauhati High Court Recruitment
Age Limit:
Category wise age limits for the posts, as on last date of receipt of applications, will be as under:-
Unreserved.............40 Years
OBC/ MOBC..........43 Years
SC..........................45 Years
ST(P) & ST(H).......45 Years
PwBD.....................50 Years
Educational Qualification:
1. Chauffeur (Driver):
a. Must possess the minimum educational qualification of Class X (HSLC) standard from a recognized Board'
b. Must possess a valid LMV driving license issued by competent authority.

2. Multi Tasking Staff (MTS):
Must possess the minimum educational qualification of Class-VIII (8th) standard; and those who have passed HSSLC (12th) or above shall be ineligible to apply for the said posts. Candidates possessing special skills may be given preference on need basis.
Employment Exchange Certificate: The candidate must possess Employment exchange registration number for the state of Assam.
Application Fee:
Candidates under PWD (Person with disability) category need not to pay any fee. The details of application fee to be paid by the candidates are indicated below:
• For Sc/ ST(P)/ ST(H): Rs.250/-
• PWD: Nil
• UR/OBC/MOBC: Rs.500/-

Candidates need to upload clear scan copies of the following testimonial(s)/certificate (s) at the time of submission of online application:
a) Documents relating to age proof (Class X admit card/Birth certificate),
b) Documents relating to educational qualification (Pass certificate),
c) Valid LMV driving license (only for the chauffeur post).

f) NOC certificate from present employer (only for the candidates who are already in Government Service)
