1. Sub Inspector (AB)

No of Posts: 51 posts

Category-wise vacancy:

• UR: 24

• OBC/ MOBC: 13

• SC: 3

• STP: 6

• STH: 2

• Sports Person: 3

Pay: Pay Scale of Rs. 14000- 60500 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Rs. 8700/- Grade Pay plus other Allowances.

Age Limit: Candidate should not be more than 24 years and not less than 20 years of age as on 01-01-2023.

Educational Qualification: The Candidate must be a graduate in Arts/Science/ Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College/ Institution affiliated to a recognized University.

2. Constable (AB)

No of Posts: 164 posts (Male Candidates)

Category-wise vacancy:

• UR: 77

• OBC/ MOBC: 44

• SC: 11

• STP: 16

• STH: 8

• Sports Person: 8

Pay: Rs. 14000-60500/-with Grade Pay of Rs 5600/- (Pay Band-II) and other Allowances.

Age Limit: Candidate should not be more than 21 years and not less than 18 years of age as on 01-01-2023.

Educational Qualification: HSLC or Equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.

3. Grade IV

No of Posts: 53 posts

• Water Carrier: 24

• Dhobi: 13

• Barber: 2

• Electrician: 2

• Plumber: 1

• Mason: 1

• Tailor: 3

Pay: Pay Scale and Grade Pay Rs.3900/- plus other Allowances

Age Limit: Candidate should not be more than 25 years and not less than 18 years of age as on 01-01-2023.

Educational Qualification: Minimum Class VIII passed from a recognized School or Institution and maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed from recognized Board or Council.

4. Safai Karmachari

No of Posts: 2 posts

Pay: Rs. 12000-52000/- (Pay Band- I) and Grade Pay Rs. 3900/- plus other Allowances

Age Limit: Candidate should not be more than 40 years and not less than 18 years of age as on 01-01-2023.

Educational Qualification: Minimum Class VI passed from a recognized School or Institution and maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed from recognized Board or Council.

Other Criteria of Assam Commando Battalion Recruitment

Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens, permanent resident of Assam.

Age Relaxation: Category-wise upper age limit relaxation is as mentioned below
