Fire & Emergency Services Assam Recruitment 2022 Details:
1. Assistant Squad Commander

Qualification: Class-XII passed or equivalent (Science) having Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized Board or Council. The candidates must have obtained pass marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) of 10+2 (Science) examination to apply for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 14000-60,500/- (Pay Band II), with Grade pay 6200/-
2. Driver (Operator)

• UR-7
• OBC/MOBC-3
• SC-1
• STP-1
Qualification: Class VIII passed and must possess valid driving license for HMV (Heavy Motor Vehicles) from recognized Authority (Assam State only).
Pay Scale: Rs. 14000-60,500/- (Pay Band II), with Grade pay 5000/-
Other Criteria of APRO Recruitment:
Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens, permanent resident of Assam. Selected candidates will have to submit proof of residence /Domicile Certificate after publication of the final select list. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC/MOBC are exempted from submitting such certificates.
Employment Exchange Registration Certificate: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other state language fluently.
Physical Standards:
Application Fee: There is no application fee.
Age Limit for APRO Recruitment:
Assistant Squad Commander: 18 years to 25 years as on 01-01-2022 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2004 and on or after 01.01.1997).
Driver (Operator): 20 years to 24 years as on 01-01-2022 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2002 and on or after 01.01.1998).
Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation is as mentioned below
• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC/MOBC: 3 years
• Trained Home guard: 3 years
