1. Project Associate-I
No of Posts: 02
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Bioinformatics/Genomics Science/Computational Biology/Computer Science.
Experience: (i) Computer Aided Drug Design (ii) Bioinformatics (iii) NGS analysis (iv) Developing Bioinformatics or related software tools/ databases and applying machine learning in natural sciences with a proven record of publications and/ or software products in public domain.
Remuneration: Rs. 31,000/- per month.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
2. Project Associate-I
No of Posts: 03
Educational Qualification: 1st Class M.Sc. in Chemistry.
Remuneration: Rs. 31,000/- per month.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
3. Senior Project Associate
No of Posts: 01
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Chemistry/Chemical Sciences.
Experience: Experience in synthetic Inorganic Chemistry and having knowledge in electrochemistry, Schlenk lines will be preferred.
Remuneration: Rs. 42,000/- per month.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years.
4. Senior Project Associate
No. of Post: 01
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Biological Sciences/Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering.
Experience: Knowledge/experience in advanced microbiology and molecular biology techniques, and fermentation techniques.
Remuneration: Rs. 42,000/- per month.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years.
5. Project Associate-I
No of Posts: 03
Educational Qualification: 1st class M.Sc. in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Microbial Biotechnology/Plant Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Molecular Biology.
Experience: Knowledge/experience in culturing, characterization, and maintenance of different microorganisms including bacteria, fungi and algae, molecular biology experiments including PCR and RT-PCR, Sanger sequencing and NGS analysis.
Remuneration: Rs. 31,000/- per month.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
6. Senior Project Associate
No. of Post: 01
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Chemistry/Nanotechnology/Chemical Engineering/Polymer and Petrochemical Engineering/Energy and Petroleum/Polymer Technology.
Remuneration: Rs. 42,000/- per month.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years.
7. Project Associate-I

Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry/Nanotechnology/Polymer Sciences Or M. Tech in Chemical Engineering/Energy and Petroleum Engineering/Polymer Technology.
Remuneration: Rs. 31,000/- per month.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
8. Project Assistant

Educational Qualification: B.Sc. in Agricultural Science.
Remuneration: Rs. 20,000/- per month.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
NEIST Selection Procedure
❖ Candidates are requested to bring with them all ORIGINAL TESTIMONIALS including Mark sheets and Certificates and also a Photograph on the date of the interview, failing which their candidature may not be considered. The selected candidates are expected to join immediately upon selection.
❖ The applicants will be subjected to the short listing by the Project Team based on the Academic performances and experiences and only shortlisted candidates will be called for Offline interview to be held at CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat.
❖ The list of shortlisted candidates along with the Date and Time of Interview will be uploaded in the CSIR-NEIST website.
