Punjab National Bank (PNB) has released a job advertisement for the recruitment of 2700 Apprentice posts under The Apprentices Act 1961 (as amended from time to time) in Punjab National Bank. Stipend: The engaged apprentices are eligible for following stipend per month for the contract period of one year.

• Rural/ Semi-Urban: Rs 10,000
• Urban: Rs 12,000
• Metro: Rs 15,000

Eligibility Criteria of Punjab National Bank Recruitment

Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 30.06.2024 i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 30.06.1996 and not later than 30.06.2004.

PNB Age Relaxation:

 

• Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe: 5 years
• Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
• Persons With Disabilities: 10 years

 

Educational Qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline from any Institute/ College/ University recognized/ approved by Govt. bodies/ AICTE/ UGC. The result of the qualification must have been declared on or before 30.06.2024 and candidate must produce Mark Sheets and Provisional/ Degree Certificate issued from the University/ College/ Institute as and when required by the Bank.

Local Language Proficiency: The candidates applying for training seats of a particular State/ UT, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in local language of that State/UT.

Physical/ Medical Fitness: Engagement of Apprentices will be subject to his/her being declared medically fit as per the requirement of the Bank.

Mode of Payment: Candidates have to make the payment of requisite fees/ intimation charges through ONLINE mode only.

All eligible applicants are requested to register themselves for the apprenticeship entrance examination/ test by visiting “Career Opportunities” section of www.bfsissc.com and make the payment of the applicable examination fees.

 

Thereafter, applicant will have to register and complete his/her profile, if not done before, separately in two different Government apprenticeship portals viz. 

(i) NAPS Apprenticeship Portal www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in (Apprentices Login/ Registration Section) and

(ii) NATS portal www.nats.education.gov.in (Student Register/Login Section - applicable only for those who have passed their graduation on or after 1st Apr’2020)

Following documents be kept ready before enrolling in the portal:

1. Aadhaar card
2. Valid Personal Email ID (will be required to activate account and Login)
3. Mobile number
4. Passport size photograph Format: JPEG, Size: Less than 1 MB
5. Qualifying Degree / Provisional Certificate, Format: PDF, Size: Less than 1 MB
