Tool Room & Training Centre (TRTC), Guwahati has released advertisement for Apprenticeship Training 2024 for the recruitment of B.E./B. Tech. & Diploma passed-out candidates for 1-year Apprentice Training under the “Apprenticeship Act 1961”. Eligible candidates may appear in walk-in-interview for these 26 posts of Apprenticeship Training vacancy.

About Tool Room & Training Centre (TRTC), Guwahati

Tool Room & Training Centre (TRTC), Guwahati has been established by Government of India to cater tooling and training need of Industries of North Eastern Region. The State Government of Assam has provided the land as well as initial building to the Tool Room.

TRTC has been registered as Government of India Society on 24th February 2000. It is situated at Amingaon Industrial Area, North Guwahati Road, Guwahati-781031. It is a sprawling campus with Administrative Block, Training Block, Modern Workshop, Knowledge Centre, Staff Quarters and Hostel.

  • B.E./B. Tech. in Mechanical Engg. — 15

  • B.E./B. Tech. in IT — 1

  • B.E./B. Tech. in Electronics & Telecommunication — 1

  • B.E./B. Tech. in Electrical Engg. — 3

  • Diploma in Mechanical — 5

Pay/ stipend:  

 

• B.E./ B.Tech Apprentice will receive stipend of Rs 12,000/- per month out of which Rs 7,500/- will be released by TRTC, Guwahati & Rs 4,500/- will be released by Central Government through DBT.

• Diploma Apprentice will receive stipend of Rs 10,000/- per month out of which Rs 6,000/- will be released by TRTC, Guwahati & Rs 4,000/- will be released by Central Government through DBT.

As such interested candidates with the above-mentioned qualification who have passed out in the year 2021/2022/2023 & have not undergone apprenticeship training earlier, may attend the walk in interview as per the schedule given below with Aadhar Card, Bio-Data & all Original Qualification documents.
