Scale of Pay: Pay scale + Grade Pay + Other allowances as admissible to the Assam State Government employees from time to time (per month).
→ Pay scale: Rs.30,000/- to 1,10,000/-
→ Grade Pay: Rs.12,700/-
→ Pay Band: PB-4
Eligibility Criteria of APSC Recruitment
Educational Qualification:
(i) A candidate must be an advocate enrolled under the Advocate's Act, 1961 who has been practising as such for at least 3 years.
Or
(ii) A Judicial officer of at least 3 (three) years standing.
Or
(iii) A Chief Language Officer of the Legislative Department holding a Degree in Law and having 3 (three) year experience as such officer or with 2 (two) years experience as such officer if he has previous experience as an Advocate for at least 3 (three) years.
Or
(iv) A Language Officer of the Legislative Department holding a Degree in Law and having S (five) years experience as such officer or 2 (two) years experience as such Language Officer if he has previous experience as an Advocate for at least 4 (four) years.
Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2024.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable :
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years
(iii) For Persons with benchmark disability (PWBD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidate.
Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
Residentship:
(i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
(ii) The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/ Employment Exchange Registration certificate as proof of residency along with the application form.
Small Family Norms: The candidates have to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form-A at the time of applying for the post.
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must be registered themselves in any of the employment exchanges of Assam.
