Civil Defence & Home Guards Recruitment 2024 Notification

Directorate of Civil Defence and Home Guards, Assam has released two job advertisements in the official website of SLPRB Assam for the recruitment of 271 Constable (Grade III) and Dresser posts under the Director General of Civil Defence & Commandant General of Home Guards, Assam (DGCD & CGHG).  Interested and eligible candidates may apply online at slprbassam.in.

Civil Defence & Home Guards Recruitment Details

1. Constable (Grade III)

No of Posts: 269 posts

 

Category-wise vacancy:

• UR — 82

• OBC/ MOBC — 64

• SC — 17

• STP — 24

• STH— 77

 

Pay Scale: Pay Band-2, Rs.14,000-60,500 plus Grade Pay of Rs.5,600.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must be H.S.L.C or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.

Other Qualification: Candidates must possess Home Guard Certificate or Minimum NCC ‘A’ Certificate. (for candidates except Ex-Servicemen). Pl note that the persons having H.S.L.C. passed certificate but not possessing Home Guards Training Certificate or minimum NCC ‘A’ Certificate are not eligible to apply.

2. Dresser

No of Posts: 2 posts

 

Category-wise vacancy:

• SC — 1

• STH — 1

 

Pay Scale: Pay Band-2, Rs.14,000-60,500 plus Grade Pay of Rs.5,000.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must be H.S.L.C or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.

Other Qualification: 

 

a) 02 (two) years experience certificate on Dresser (Medical) work from a Govt. recognized Institute. 

b) Trade skill including knowledge on contamination, sterilization and disinfection of instruments, preparation of chlorine solution, antiseptic & aseptic condition, procedure of decontamination, Cleaning & Bandaging wounds and other affected body parts.

 

Eligibility Criteria of Civil Defence & Home Guards Recruitment

Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian Citizen, permanent resident of Assam.

Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.

Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.

Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 18 to 40 years as on 01-01-2024 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 1st January 2006 and on or after 1st January 1984).

Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.

 

• SC/ST: 5 years

• OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
