ICMR NIMR Recruitment 2023 Notification

ICMR-National Institute of Malaria Research (NIMR) has released a job advertisement for the recruitment of 26 posts of Project Assistant, Project Technician-III and Project Technician-I vacancy. Interested and eligible candidates may appear in walk-in interview.

1. Project Assistant

No. of Post: 5 (UR)

State-wise vacancy:

• Assam — 0

Consolidated Salary: Rs. 31,000/-

Age Limit: 30 Years

Essential Qualification: Graduate Degree in Life Science subjects from a recognized university with three years’ work experience from a recognized institution OR Master’s degree in Life Science subjects.

Desirable Qualification: Preference will be given to candidates having two wheelers with valid Driving Licence and having android mobile phones. Candidates having knowledge of local language will be preferred. Experience of research /field activities in recognized organization. Knowledge of Computer Applications, experience of working in rural/tribal areas will be given preference.

2. Project Technician III

No. of Post: 5 (UR)

State-wise vacancy:

Consolidated Salary: Rs. 18,000/-

Age Limit: 30 Years

Essential Qualification: 12th pass in Science subjects AND two years’ diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician OR One year DMLT plus one year required experience from a recognized organization OR Two years’ field/Laboratory experience.

*B. Sc degree shall be treated as 3 years’ experience.

Desirable Qualification: Graduate in science subjects from a recognized university with 1-year work experience in hospital/ laboratory/ health system/community /field work from a Government Organisation or recognized Institution or Master’s degree in relevant subject.

Preference will be given to candidates having two wheelers with valid Driving Licence and having android mobile phones. Candidates having knowledge of local language will be preferred.

3. Project Technician I

No. of Post: 16 (UR)

State-wise vacancy:

• Assam — 6

• Tripura — 2

• Manipur — 2

• Arunachal Pradesh — 2

• Nagaland — 2

• Mizoram — 2

Consolidated Salary: Rs. 16,000/-

Age Limit: 25 Years

Essential Qualification: High School* or equivalent WITH one-year experience in hospital/ laboratory/ health system/ community /field work from a Government Organisation or recognized Institution.

 *Intermediate with science subjects shall be treated as equivalent to 2 years’ experience.

Desirable Qualification: Preference will be given to candidates having two wheelers with valid Driving Licence and having android mobile phones. Candidates having knowledge of local language will be preferred.

Required Documents: Those appearing for Walk-in-Interview/personal discussion, he/she must bring all original certificates 

(1) Educational qualification 

(2) Proof of Date of birth 

(3) Experience certificates/testimonials 

(4) One-self attested recent passport size photograph 

(5) ID Proof (Ex. Aadhar/PAN/Voter ID/Driving License etc.)

(6) One set of self-attested photocopies of all documents.
