Eligibility Criteria of Jorhat Recruitment
Citizenship: Candidates must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class VIII or read up to Class - XII. Candidates who have passed HSSLC or above shall be ineligible to apply for the said post.
Candidates must have a valid Employment Exchange Registration Number for the State of Assam and the Registration must be valid as on the last date of submission of application form.
Age Limit: Category wise age limits as on last date of receipt of applications, will be as under:-
• Unreserved — 40 Years
• OBC/MOBC — 43 Years
• SC 45 — Years
• ST(P) & ST(H) — 45 Years
• PwBD — 50 Years
Selection Process of Jorhat Recruitment 2025
Examination & Interview Centre: Jorhat (Date & Venues will be informed in the Official Website).
The eligible candidates shall be required to appear for a written examination (comprising descriptive and objective type), in English and Assamese, for 30 marks of 1 hour 15 minutes duration, and viva-voce of 20 marks.
The shortlisted candidates in order of merit in the written examination shall be called to appear in the interview/viva-voce.
Final selection will be made on the basis of the grand total marks obtained by the candidates in the Written Examination and Interview/Viva-Voce.
The written examination will comprise of questions in Assamese and English of Secondary School standard. There will be 30 marks in the written examination, comprising of topics like General Knowledge, Reasoning, Arithmetic, Composition and knowledge of Assamese and English language.
No individual call letters will be sent to the eligible candidates. However, list of candidates to be called for written test and viva-voce will be uploaded in the official website of District Judiciary, Jorhat (https://jorhat.dcourts.gov.in) and candidates will be able to download the same from the official website. The list of rejected candidates will also be uploaded in the official website.
How to Apply for Jorhat Recruitment 2025
• The application in Standard Form with self-attested copies of all testimonials regarding Educational Qualification, Age, Caste, Valid Employment Exchange Registration Card, Experience Certificate (if any) along with 3 (three) copies of recent passport size photographs should reach the Office of the District and Sessions Judge, Jorhat.
• The applicants shall mention their Contact/Mobile Numbers in the application form without fail.
• The last date of receipt of application is 17-05-2025. No application will be, entertained after the last date.
