DEE Special Educator Recruitment 2025 Notification

DEE, Assam has released a job advertisement for the recruitment of 228 vacancies of Special Educator Teacher posts in Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) Schools of Assam under the Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam. Interested and eligible candidates are requested to apply online at (www.dee.assam.gov.in) from 28th August 2025 onwards.

DEE Special Educator Recruitment Details

Name of Post: Special Educator (LP) & (UP)

No of Posts: 228 posts 

 

• Special Educator (LP): 120 posts

• Special Educator (UP): 108 posts

Name of Department: Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam

Pay Scale:

 

•LP School: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000 + GP ₹7,400

•UP School: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000 + GP ₹8,700

 

District-wise vacancy: The district-wise and category-wise break-up of vacancies showing the reservation for OBC/MOBC/SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/PwD/Women/Ex-Servicemen etc. will be notified in due course of time.

Educational Qualification for DEE Special Educator Recruitment

Special Educator (LP School):

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education), recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

TET : The candidate must have passed the ATET/CTET for LP Schools.

Special Educator (UP School):

a) Graduate with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education), recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

 

TET : The candidate must have passed the ATET/CTET for UP Schools.

Other Criteria for DEE Special Educator Recruitment 2025

 

Age Limit: A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years as on 1st August 2025.

 

Age Relaxation: The Category-wise age relaxation for different categories are as mentioned below:

 

• Ex-Servicemen: 42 years

• OBC/ MOBC: 43 years

• SC/ST(P)/ST(H): 45 years

• Persons with Disability (PwD): 50 years 

 

Small Family Norms: No person having more than two living children on or after 01/01/2021 from a single or multiple partners shall be eligible for appointment as per the Govt. policy on Small Family Norms .

Medium of Instruction: Either Language-I or the Language-II of both ATET and CTET candidates shall match the medium of instruction of the school, wherein the candidate wishes to apply.

How to Apply for DEE LP UP Special Educator Recruitment 2025

The eligible candidates shall apply online in the official website of DEE, Assam, i.e. www.dee.assam.gov.in from 28th August 2025.

Documents required to be uploaded in colour:

a. Passport Size Photograph.

b. HSLC Admit Card.

c. HSSLC Mark-sheet and Certificate.

d. Any other Mark-sheet and Certificate of higher education.

e. Diploma in Special Education Mark sheet and Certificate (Recognized By RCI).

f. Document in support of Permanent Resident of Assam.

g. Certificate and Mark sheet of ATET/CTET.

h. Candidates with disabilities will have to enclose certificates of disabilities issued by Govt. authority.

i. Certificate of Ex-servicemen issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board

j. Working experience certificate (if any)
