PHE Assam Recruitment Details
1. Junior Engineer (Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical / Chemical)
No of Posts: 187 Posts
Branch-wise vacancy:
• Civil: 160 posts
• Mechanical: 10 posts
• Electrical: 7 posts
• Chemical: 10 posts
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have 3 years Diploma in respective branch of Engineering from any institute recognised by AICTE.
Scale of Pay: Rs 14000/- to Rs 70000/-, Grade Pay Rs 8700/-
2. Assistant Engineer (Civil/ Mechanical/ Chemical)
No of Posts: 50 posts
Branch-wise vacancy:
• Civil: 40 posts
• Mechanical: 5 posts
• Chemical: 5 posts
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed BE/ B.Tech. in respective branch of Engineering from any institute recognised by AICTE. OR Part A & B of AMIE India in Civil/ Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering enrolled on or before 31st May 2013.
Scale of Pay: Rs 30000/- to Rs 110000/-, Grade Pay Rs 12700/-
Other Criteria of PHE Assam Recruitment
Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2025.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable :
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years
(iii)
Persons with benchmark disability (PwBD) 10 years irrespective of
SC/ST/OBC and UR Category of candidates as per Govt, Memorandum No. ABP
1441951121 dated Dispur the 28th October, 2015
Small Family Norms: The candidates have to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form-A at the time of applying for the post.
Domicile:
(i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
(ii)
The Candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose
as a proof of residency along with the application form
Or
(iii) The candidate must produce Employment Exchange Registration certificate in the state of Assam along with the application form .
