S.M. Dev Civil Hospital, Silchar released a job advertisement for the recruitment of 12 posts of MBBS doctor, Laboratory Technician, Data Entry Operator & Hospital Dresser vacancy under the IPA project. The engagement is purely contractual for a period of six (6) months under the World Bank funded ‘ASSIST’ Project, Medical Education & Research Department, and Government of Assam.

Silchar Cachar Recruitment Details
1. MBBS Doctor
No. of Post: 1
Qualification: MBBS Degree from recognized institution.
Remuneration: Rs.50,000/-
2. Laboratory Technician
No. of Post: 3
Qualification: 2 Years Diploma Or certificate course from Govt recognized institution and Minimum 6 Months experience in this field.
Remuneration: Rs.10,000/-
3. Data Entry Operator
No. of Post: 4
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with a minimum 6-month Diploma in Computer Applications and at least 6 months of work experience in any Government firm or Project.
Remuneration: Rs.8,000/-
4. Hospital Dresser
No. of Post: 4
Qualification: 12th Pass with a minimum of 6 months’ work experience in any Government or Private Hospital.
Remuneration: Rs.5,000/-
Age Limit for Silchar Cachar Recruitment
➢ For candidates other than Doctor, the minimum age requirement is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 35 years as on 01.01.2025.
➢ For candidates applying for the post of Doctor, the upper age limit is 65 years as on 31.12.2025.

Interested and eligible candidates fulfilling the above conditions are required to submit a duly filled and signed Standard Form of Application (Assam Gazette Part-IX) along with two (2) self-attested passport-size photographs and photocopies of educational qualifications, admit cards, marksheets, caste certificate (if applicable), Aadhaar Card, and other relevant certificates/testimonials to the office of the Superintendent, S.M. Dev Civil Hospital, Cachar, on or before 11.09.2025 up to 5:00 P.M.
Candidates must also appear for the “Walk-in-Interview” as per the schedule mentioned below with all original documents corresponding to those submitted.
