Scale of Pay: Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 1,10,000/- Grade Pay: Rs. 12,700/- Pay Band – 4
Educational Qualification: Candidate must have at least Second Class (45%) in: M.Sc. in Geology, M.Sc. in Applied Geology, M.Sc. Tech in Applied Geology, M. Tech in Applied Geology and Integrated M.Sc. Tech in Applied Geology from any University or Institution recognized by the Government.
Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2026.
Other Criteria of Geology & Mining Assam Recruitment
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable :
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years
(iii) For Persons with benchmark disability (PWBD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidate.
Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
Small Family Norms: The candidates have to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form-A at the time of applying for the post.
Domicile:
(i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
(ii) The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/ Employment Exchange Registration certificate / Voter ID card of the candidate or his/her parents will be treated as proof of residency along with the application form.
