82 nos. posts of
District Programme Manager, Accounts Assistant, Counselor, Lab Technician, Data Manager and Attendant under Assam State AlDS Control Society, Khanapara, Guwahati.
The appointed will be on contract basis at ICTC/PPTCT/STI Clinic /Blood Bank located at different Medical Colleges, Civil Hospitals, CHCs in the state and at District AIDS Prevention & Control Unit, (DAPCU) of Kamrup district.

1. District Programme Manager (DAPCU)
No. of Post: 01
Qualification & Experience:
Medical Graduate in modern medicine with 3 (three) years of field experience in HIV/ AIDS or health programme implementation
Or
Post Graduate degree in Management Public Health/ Social Science/ Life Science with 3 (three) years of field experience in HIV/ AIDS or health programme implementation.
Other Skills needed:
- Analytical Skill
- Programme Management Skills
- Advocay Skills.
- Good knowledge of computers
Remuneration: Rs. 31,200/- per month
2. Accounts Assistant (DAPCU)
No. of Post: 01
Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate in Commerce with minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts.
- Diploma in Computer Applications from a Govt. recognized institute.
- Preference will be given to the candidates having certification in any accounting software (like Tally).
Remuneration: Rs. 12,700/- per month
3. Counselor (ICTC/ PPTCT/ STI/ Blood Bank)

Qualification & Experience:
- Post Graduate degree diploma in Psychology Social Work Sociology/ Anthropology Human Development 7 Nursing with minimum 1 year experience of working in the field of counseling in health sector, preferably in HIV/ AIDS after PG degree/ diploma.
- In case of people infected with or affected by HIV/ AIDS graduate in Psychology/ Social Work /Sociology/ Anthropology Human Development Nursing: with minimum 1 year experience after graduation in field of counseling in heaith sector, preferably in HIV/ AIDS.
- Diploma in Computer Applications from a Govt. recognized institute.
- Candidates should be proficient to read and write in English and in local language.
Remuneration: Rs. 13,000/- per month
4. Laboratory Technician (ICTC/ PPTCT/ Blood Bank)
No. of Post: 36
Qualification & Experience:
- B. Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) with minimum 2 years experience in the relevant field after graduation.
- Diploma in Computer Applications from a Govt. recognized institute.
OR
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) with minimum 3 years experience in the relevant field after diploma.
- Diploma in Computer Applications from a Govt recognized institute.
Remuneration: Rs. 13,000/- per month
5. Data Manager (Blood Bank)
No. of Post: 02
Qualification & Experience: Graduate (preferably with Commerce background) with Diploma in Computer Applications (from a Govt. recognized institute or university) or O level course from DOEACC.
Remuneration: Rs. 13,000/- per month
6. Attendant (ICTC/ Blood Mobile Van)
No. of Post: 03
Qualification: 10 Pass with valid driving license of Light Motor Vehicle (MV). Candidate should know how to read and write Preference will be given to the candidate having experience in the relevant work.
Remuneration: Rs. 7,000/- per month
Duration of Engagement:
For a period of one year which may be extended based on performance appraisal and co-terminus with the project.
Age Limi (as on 01/01/2020):
The age of the candidate should not be more than 60 years as on 1 January, 2020.
Selection Process:
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the written test and or viva voce interview.
- The list of the shortlisted candidates will be published in the Assam State AlDS Control Society web site www.asacs.assam.gov.in before 10 days of the date of written test/ interview.
- The date and venue of the written test and viva voce interview will be notified later on through local news papers and Assam State AIDS Control Society web site.
