Assam Textbook Production Recruitment 2024 Details

1. Deputy Academic Officer (Arts)

No of Posts: 1 (UR)

Pay Scale: Rs. 22000-87000/- + GP Rs. 9100/-

Essential Qualification: MA in one of the subject like Political Science, Education, History, Geography etc. from a reputed University.

Experience: The candidate should have the experiences of publishing minimum three nos. of his/her own authored books during the last five years, having the accompanied experiences of proof reading, technical knowledge of developing manuscripts and being familiar and aligned with the entire printing process.

2. Assistant Manager Commercial (Godown Office)

No of Posts: 2 (UR: 1, SC: 1)

Pay Scale: Rs.14000-49000/- + GP Rs. 8000/-

Essential Qualification:

• Commerce Graduate.

• Minimum one year Diploma in Computer Application from reputed institution with operational knowledge of office automation.

• Diploma/Certificate in Store/ Inventory Management.

Experience: Minimum 5 year experience in

• Store keeping

• Bookkeeping

• Inventory Management in ware house/ godown of reputed Companies or Govt. undertaking preferably having minimum annual transaction of goods of Rs.5 Cr. and area of such godown/ ware house should be preferably of 10,000 sq.ft. minimum.

Age Limit of Assam Textbook Production Recruitment

The candidate should be less than 21 years and not above 40 years as on 01-01-2024. The upper age limit is relaxable as under:

i) 5 years for ST(P), ST(H), SC candidates.

ii) 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates

1. Deputy Academic Officer (Science)

No. of Post: 01

Qualification: M.Sc. in any of the subject like Chemistry, Physics and Math. etc. working knowledge in Computer Application.

Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in the field of preparation of manuscript/ news items/journal books/magazine etc. Working experience in reputed printing house/ newspapers/ academic institution will be preferred.

Fixed Remuneration: Rs.32,000/- per month.

2. Consultant (Bodo)
No. of Post: 01

Qualification: Graduate having Bodo language as MIL in degree level. Certificate in Computer Application.
Experience: Minimum 7 years experience in the field of manuscript preparation/ Proof reading etc. Working experience in reputed printing house/ newspapers will be preferred.

Fixed Remuneration: Rs.22,000/- per month.

3. Accountant
No. of Post: 01

Qualification: Graduate in Commerce stream. Knowledge in Tally Accounting. Knowledge in Local Taxation.
Experience: Minimum 7 years experience in Accounts and Tally in Govt. or Private reputed Institution.

Fixed Remuneration: Rs.22,000/- per month.

4. Accounts Assistant
No. of Post: 01

Qualification: Graduate in Commerce stream. Knowledge in Tally Accounting. Knowledge in Local Taxation.
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in Accounts and Tally in Govt. or Private reputed Institution.

Fixed Remuneration: Rs.14,000/- per month.

5. Assistant Manager Commercial
No. of Post: 01

Qualification: Graduate in Commerce stream. Diploma in Inventory Management. Diploma in Computer Application.
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in working in Large Warehouse/ Godown, at least in a capacity of Supervisor.

Fixed Remuneration: Rs.14,000/- per month.

6. Computer Assistant
No. of Post: 03

Qualification: Graduate with 1 year Diploma in Computer Application.
Experience: Minimum 10 years experience in the field of Data Entry/ DTP works in known reputed Govt./ Semi Govt./ Private Institute. Good knowledge in English/ Assamese/ Hindi language will be practice & typing, Graphic design, CRC preparation.

Fixed Remuneration: Rs.14,000/- per month.

Maximum Age Limit: 38 years.

Duration of Engagement: 6 months

Mode of Recruitment: Interview

1. The posts shown above are purely temporary and on contractual basis carrying consolidated monthly fixed pay as shown in the advertisement.
