Online applications are invited from Indian Citizens for filling up the following posts in Assam State Transport Corporation for posting of selected candidates in different offices of the Corporation situated throughout the State of Assam.
1. Internal Auditor
Total Post: 11 [SC-2, STP-3, STH-1, OBC-3, GEN-2]
Educational Qualification: Graduate in Commerce. with Accountancy/ Finance as a major subject.
Other Qualification: Diploma in Computer Application (Min. 6 months course).
Pay Scale: Rs.5,200-20,200/-, Grdae Pay Rs.3,300/-
Age: 21 years - 43 years as on 01-01-2019 as per Govt OM No. ABP 6/2016/04 dated 03-03-2016. Upper Age relaxation for Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe candidates by 5 (five) years and for the candidates for Other Backward Classes by 3 (three) years.
2. Foreman (Automobile)
Total Post: 07 [SC-1, STP-2, STH-2, GEN-2]
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Engineering (Automobile/ Mechanical).
Other Qualification: Diploma in Computer Application (Min. 6 months course).
Pay Scale: Rs.5,200-20,200/-, Grdae Pay Rs.3,300/-

Selection Process: Written Test and Interview.
1. Written Test:
- OMR based Objective type Multiple Choice Questions
- Total Marks: 200 Marks.
- Total Question: 100+100=200 Marks
- Marks per question: 1
- Negative Marks: (-)0.33 will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Exam Duration: 2:00 hours.
The Question Paper will cover 2 (two) parts viz:
a) PART-I - (100 Marks): (i) General Studies (Indian History, Geography, Economics, Polity and Constitution, Science & Technology, Current Affairs and Assam Special from all fields), (ii) Reasoning, (iii) Decision Making, (iv) Mathematics and (v) English.
b) PART-II - (100 Marks):
- Accountancy/ Finance for Internal Auditor.
- Technical paper for Foreman (Automobile).
2. Interview: Interview will be conducted for short-listed candidates from Written Test. Total Marks-50.
