Applications are invited from male Indian nationals possessing required eligibility, for recruitment to the post of Navik (General Duty) in the Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union.
Post Name: Coast Guard Navik (General Duty) - 10+2 Entry - 02/2019 Batch
Required Qualification: Passed HSSLC (10+2) with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by Central/State Government with minimum 50% aggregate marks. (relaxation of 5 % in minimum cut off will be given for SC/ST candidates and outstanding sports personnel of National level).
Age: 18 Years-22 years i.e. born between 01-08-1997 to 31-07-2001 (both dates inclusive). Relaxation in (Upper age) is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Pay, Perks, and Others Benefits:
a) On joining, Basic pay 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus DA and other allowances based on nature of duty/ place of posting as per the prevailing regulations.
b) Promotion prospects exist upto the rank of Pradhan Adhikari: (Pay Level 8) pay scale Rs.47600/- with DA.
Selection Process: Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Fitness in Medical Examination.
