Applications in Online are invited by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) from eligible candidates for Civil Service Examination (Preliminary) for the year 2019.
Preliminary Examination of the Civil Services Examination will be held by the Union Public Service Commission on 2nd June, 2019.

Qualification: To become eligible for the examination the candidate must hold A Degree of any of Universities.
Examination Fee:
- General: Rs.100/-
- SC/ ST/ Female & PwBD: Nill
Mode of Payment of Fee: Depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash/ Net Banking/ Credit/ Debit card
Age as on 1st August 2019: (must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1987 and not later than 1st August, 1998)
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 32 years
- The upper age limit will be relaxable for reserved category.
The Civil Services Competitive Examination Comprises Two Stages:
Stage-I: Civil Services (Prelims) Examination: The Preliminary Examination will consist of two papers of Objective type (multiple choice questions) and carry a maximum of 400 marks.
Stage-II: Civil Services (Main) Examination (Written and Interview) for the final selection of candidates.
