Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) Assam Admission 2019 under SCERT:

Online applications are hereby invited from the candidates who are permanent resident of Assam to appear in the Pre Entry Test (PET)-2019 for admission into (2-Years) Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) Course. 

The course will be conducted in the NCTE recognized Teacher Education Institutes (DIET/CTE/Normal School/BTC/Pvt. TEIs) of the state for the academic session 2019-2021 beginning from 1st July, 2019.

SCERT, Assam D.el.Ed Course 2019 Details:

Course Name: Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)

Duration of Course: Two (02) Years.

Course Under: State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT)

Qualification for SCERT Assam D.Ed.Ed Course 2019:

1. For Lower Primary Level (LP): The applicant must have passed Higher Secondary or its equivalent examination from recognized Boards / Councils with at least 50% marks in aggregate excluding marks secured in extra optional.
[There will be relaxation of 5% of marks in aggregate for candidates belonging to SC/ST category.]


2. For Upper Primary Level (UP): The applicant must have passed BA/ BSc. with at least 50% marks from recognized University.
[There will be relaxation of 5% of marks in aggregate for candidates belonging to SC/ST category.]

Age Limit for D.Ed.Ed Course Assam 2019:

Age Limit: The applicant must not be less than 18 years and not more than 34 years as on 1st July, 2019. Candidates belonging to SC & ST categories will get relaxation by 2 years in upper age limit.


Reservation: It should be noted that the reservation of seats for the candidates belonging to reserved categories including OBC/MOBC/SC/ST/Person With Disability (PWD) will be as per existing Govt. norms. Detail is available on official website.

Other Details for SCERT Assam D.El.Ed 2019:

Application Fee: Rs. 350.00 (Rupees three hundred fifty only) for all categories to be Paid online (Internet Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Wallet).

Pre Entry Test (PET) & its Venue: The venue for the Pre Entry Test (PET) will be DIET/ HS School of a District. However, depending upon the number of candidates the Pre Entry Test may be held in nearby school/ college etc. The venue for the Pre Entry Test will be indicated in the Admit Card of the candidates.

Admit Cards: Candidates will be able to download his/ her Admit Card from the official website from 2nd May, 2019 by entering his/ her Registration Number and Date of Birth generated during online submission of application.

Date of Pre Entry Test (PET): 12th May, 2019.
