Applications are invited (Online) from interested and eligible Indian Citizens (Male & Female) for filling up the vacancies for the Non-Gazetted & Non-Ministerial posts of Head Constable (Radio Operator) & Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) in Group 'C' on temporary basis likely to be made permanent in Border Security Force.

1. Head Constable (Radio Operator)

Total Post: 300 [UR-269, EWS-31, OBC-0, SC-0, ST-0]

Academic Qualification: Matriculation (Class 10th) or equivalent from a recognized Board and two years Industrial Training Institute Certificate (ITI) in Radio and Television or, Electronics or, computer operator & Programming Assistant or, Data Preparation & Computer Software or, General Electronics or, Data Entry Operator from a recognized Institute.

-OR-

Pass Intermediate (HSSLC) or 12th standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or University or Institution as a regular student with aggregate 60% marks in PCM subject.

2. Head Constable (Radio Mechanic)

Total Post: 772 [UR-2349, EWS-54, OBC-151, SC-146, ST-72]

Academic Qualification: Matriculation (Class 10th) or equivalent from a recognized Board and two years Industrial Training Institute Certificate (ITI) in Radio and Television or, General Electronics or, computer operator & Programming Assistant or, Data Preparation & Computer Software or, Electrician or, Fitter or, Info Technology & Electronics System maintenance or, Comn Equipment Maintenance or, Computer Hardware or, Mechatronics or, Network Technician or, Data Entry Operator from a recognized Institute.

Pass Intermediate (HSSLC) or 12th standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or University or Institution as a regular student with aggregate 60% marks in PCM subject.

Age Limit (as on 01-08-2019):

• For General Category: 18-25 Years
• For OBC Category: 18-28 Years
• For SC & ST Category: 18-30 Years
• Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Mode of Payment: Candidates belonging to General (UR) and OBC categories will have to pay examination fee @ Rs.100/- only through SBI online payment gateway by using following modes:

1. Internet banking (INB)
2. Credit/ Debit cards
3. BHIM Pay

(However, the SC/ ST, Female candidates of all categories & BSF serving personnel are exempted from paying the examination fee).

Important Dates:

1. Starting Date to Apply Online: 14-05-2019
2. Last Date to Apply Online: 12-06-2019
3. Date of OMR based screening test: 28-07-2019
4. Date of PST, PET & Documentation: From 09-10-2019 onwards
5. Date of Descriptive written test: 24-11-2019
6. Date of Final Medical Exam: From 30-01-2020 onwards
