Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites application (online) from eligible candidates (Male & Female) for Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) Assistant Commandants (ACs) Examination 2019.
Name of the Post: Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF)
Tentative Vacancies: The number of vacancies to be filled on the results of the examination is as follows:

Required Educational Qualifications: Must hold a Bachelor’s degree of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central/ State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification.
Selection Process:
A. Written Examination: The written examination will be held on 18th August, 2019 and will comprise two papers:
Paper I: General Ability and Intelligence. There will be 250 Marks. All questions will be of Objective (Multiple Answers) Type. The language of the paper will be in English as well as Hindi.
Paper II: This paper consists of General Studies, Essay and Comprehension. There will be 200 Marks. There will be option in this paper of writing the Essay Component in English or Hindi, but the medium of Comprehension Components, Precis Writing and other communications/ language skills will be English only.
B. Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests:

C. Interview/Personality Test: Candidates who are declared qualified in the Medical Standards Tests, will be called for Interview/Personality Test. The Interview/Personality Test will carry 150 Marks.
D. Final Selection/ Merit: The merit list will be drawn on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the Written Examination and Interview/Personality Test.
Age Limit (as on 01-08-2019):
- Minimum Age: 20 Years
- Maximum Age: 25 Years
- Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1994 and not later than 01-08-1999.
- Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
