Applications, through proper channel, are invited, by registered post only, for the post of Principal, Swahid Peoli Phukan College, Namti in pursuance of DHE’s order No. DHE/CE/AC/Permission/116/2017/103, dated 30/04/2019 from candidates fulfilling the requisite norms as per existing UGC rules and guideline of the Government of Assam.

Name of the Post: Principal

Eligibility: 

1. Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 55% mark or an equivalent grade.
2. Ph.D. Degree.
3. Professor/Associate Professor with a total service/experience of at least 15 Years of Teaching/ Research in Universities, Colleges or other Institutions of Higher Education.
4. A minimum of 10 Research Publications in Peer-Reviewed or UGC listed journals.
5. A minimum of 110 Research Score as per Appendix II at Table-2.
6. Relaxation of 5% marks at Graduate and Post Graduate level in both traditional and grade point system for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/Differently-able category.
7. Relaxation of 5% (55% to 50% of the marks) for the Ph.D. Degree holders, who obtained Master Degree prior to 19th September, 1991.
8. Upper age limit is 55 years as per prescribed rules.
9. The tenure of the Principal shall be for 5 years as per Government guideline.

Application Fee: 

• Demand Draft of Rs. 5000/- drawn in favour of Principal, SPP College, Namti, payable at SBI, Chapangani (7429).
• Those who applied in response to earlier advertisements are to apply afresh with a Demand Draft of Rs. 1500/- only.

How To Apply: Applicants should fill in the prescribed Performa issued by the DHE, Assam, with complete bio-data and supporting testimonials from HSLC onwards should submit to the President, Governing Body on or before 10-06-2019 along with a Demand Draft.
