Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) will be conducting an Online Examination on 30th July, 2019 and 31st July, 2019 for Recruitment to the post of Assistant and invites On-Line Applications for recruitment to the post.

Total Vacancies: 280 Posts [UR-113, EWS-28, SC-42, ST-21, OBC(NCL)-76]

EPFO Recruitment 2019 - Educational Qualification: 

Must possess Degree from recognized University or equivalent as on 25th June, 2019.

All Applicants must ensure before applying that they possess/ fulfill all the eligibility conditions prescribed for the post(s) as on the closing date for online registration of application i.e. 25th June, 2019. 

It should be noted that the Candidates Waiting For Final Results of Prescribed Educational Qualification should not apply.

Age Limit for EPFO Recruitment 2019: 

Must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 27 years as on 25th June, 2019. (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC, Employees of Government of India, employees of EPFO and Persons with Disability as per rules).

Age Relaxation:

• General - Upto 40 years of age
• SC/ST - Upto 45 years of age
• OBC - Upto 43 years of age 

Relaxation for Person with Disability(PwD):

• PwD + General: 10 years
• PwD + OBC: 13 years
• PwD + SC/ST :15 years 

Scale of Pay for EPFO Assistant Post:

Pay Matrix Level-7 (Civilian employees) under 7th Pay Commission with Entry Pay Rs. 44,900/- with HRA, DA and Transport Allowance and other allowances as per rules in force from time to time.

Application Fee for EPFO Recruitment 2019:

• For General: Rs. 500/-
• SC/ST/PWD/ Departmental Candidates, Female Candidates & EWS: Rs. 250/-

EPFO Recruitment 2019 - Selection Process/ Scheme of Examination:

Phase-I: Preliminary Examination: Total 100 objective type questions. Total marks 100 and Duration 60 minutes:

• English Language
• Reasoning Ability
• Numerical Aptitude

Phase-II: Main Examination:

A. Total 150 objective type questions. Total marks 200 and Duration 2 hours:

• Reasoning/ Intelligence
• General/ Economy/ Financial Awareness
• English Language 
• Quantitative Aptitude 

B. Descriptive Paper (English Language with emphasis on comprehension and analysis): Total 3 questions. Total marks 30 and duration 45 minutes.

Some Important points  to be noted by candidates before applying online: Before applying online, candidates should scan their:

• Signature (with black ink)
• Left thumb impression (on white paper with black or blue ink)
• A running hand written declaration (on a white paper with black ink)

3. Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) dates : 30 & 31-07-2019
4. Downloading of Call Letters: 20-07-2019 to 30-07-2019
5. Main Examination (Phase-II): Call letters will be sent after the Declaration of the result of Preliminary Examination (Phase-I).
