Applications are invited from eligible candidates in the Standard Form for filling up the following posts Teaching and Non-Teaching staff on contractual basis of Guwahati Blind Higher Secondary School, Basistha, Guwahati-29.



1. Subject Teacher (English/ MIL (Assamese)/ Education/ History/ Economics/ Political Science)
No. of Post: 06

Qualification: M.A. in concerned subject with minimum 50% marks.
Desirable: Candidates holding B.Ed/ Diploma in special education (Visual Impaired). Experience in any school.

Remuneration: Rs.20,000/- (fixed)


2. Warden (Male)
No. of Post: 01

Qualification: Graduate.

Remuneration: Rs.15,000/- (fixed)


3. Braille Teacher
No. of Post: 01

Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with detailed knowledge of braille scripts.

Remuneration: Rs.15,000/- (fixed)


4. L.D.A.
No. of Post: 01

Qualification: HS passed and having proficiency in computer application.

Remuneration: Rs.12,000/- (fixed)


5. Grade-IV (Night Chowkidar)
No. of Post: 01

Qualification: Class VIII passed.

Remuneration: Rs.10,000/- (fixed)


6. Peon
No. of Post: 01

Qualification: Class VIII passed.

Remuneration: Rs.10,000/- (fixed)


7. Sweeper
No. of Post: 01

Qualification: Class VIII passed.

Remuneration: Rs.10,000/- (fixed)


Age Limit: Minimum 18 and maximum 44 years of age as on 01/01/2019 for reserved categories and 38 years for General Candidates.

Selection Process: Interview will be held on 22/08/2019. the candidates must produce the original certificates on the date of the interview.
