Online applications are invited from the practicing Advocates for appointment in 10 (ten) vacant posts in Grade-I of Assam Judicial Service.

Name of the Post: Grade-I

No. of Vacancy: 10 Posts [UR-9, Locomotor Disabled-1]

Eligibility Criteria:

• Degree in Law.
• Must be practicing as an Advocate in Courts of Civil and Criminal Jurisdiction on the last date fixed for receipt of applications and must have been so practicing for a period of not less than 7 years as on such date.

Pay Scale: Rs.51,550-1,230-58,930-1380-63,070/- per month

Age Limit: Must have attained the age of 35 years and must not have attained the age of 48 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and 45 years in the case of others as on the last date 08/11/2019.

Selection Process:

• Preliminary Examination (Screening Test)
• Main (Written) Examination
• Viva-voce/ Interview

Application Fee: 

• SC/ST: Rs.250/-
• PwD (locomotor disability): Nil
• All others: Rs.500/-
