Dr. B Borooah Cancer Institute (BBCI), invites eligible candidates for appearing a Walk-in-interview for the following posts to be filled up on a purely temporary or contractual basis under ICMR-NCDIR funded project.


Project Titled: “Monitoring survey of cancer risk factors and health system response in North EastRegion(NER)” (Duration : 8 months)

1. Scientific-B (Medical)
Total Post: 01

Qualification: 

MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS  from  a  recognized  university  with one-year research/ teaching experience.

Or 

BDS/ BAMS/ B.VSc from a recognized university with two years research/ teaching experience.

Or

MPH/ MD in Community Medicine/ Public health from a recognized university.

Age Limit: 35 years. Age relaxation is admissible as per ICMR Guidelines.
Consolidated Salary: Rs 63,625/-per month.


2. Project Technical Officer (Medical Social Worker/ Social Worker/ Sr. Investigator)
Total Post: 02

Qualification: Graduate in Social Work/ Sociology/ Statistics or equivalent subjects from a recognized university with five years work experience from a recognized institution in public health/ Medical social work or Master’s degree in the above mentioned subjects.

Age Limit: 30 years.
Consolidated Salary: Rs 32,000/-per month.


3. Project Technician-III (Lab Technician)
Total Post: 01

Qualification: 12th pass in science subjects and two years diploma in medical laboratory technician or related subject or one year DMLT plus one year in a recognized organization or two years of field/laboratory experience.

Age Limit: 30 years. Age relaxation is admissible as per ICMR Guidelines.
Consolidated Salary: Rs 18,000/-per month.


4. Project Technician-III (Field Worker)
Total Post: 01

Qualification: 12thpass in science subjects or two years of field. Note: B.Sc. degree shall be treated as 3 years’ experience.

Age Limit: 30 years. Age relaxation is admissible as per ICMR Guidelines.
Consolidated Salary: Rs 18,000/-per month.

Walk-in-Interview: Candidates are required to carry all the relevant documents related to age, educational qualification, caste, experience, etc,.(HSLC onwards) and two passport size photographs at the time of interview.
