Applications are invited from eligible citizens of India for appointment of sportspersons through open advertisement against the following sports discipline for Head Quarters Unit (Maligaon):

1. Athletics [Women]

Position: Running event 100/200/400/800/1500/5000/10000 meters.
Grade Pay: 1900/2000


2. Badminton [Men]
No. of Post: 03

Position: Single
Grade Pay: 1900/2000


3. Basketball [Men]
No. of Post: 02

Position: Pivot
Grade Pay: 1900/2000


4. Cricket [Women]
No. of Post: 01

Position: Wicket keeping + Batsman
Grade Pay: 1900/2000


5. Cycling [Men/ Women]
No. of Post: 03 [Men-2. Women-1]

Position: Men- Time Trial Road; Women- Pursuit event Track
Grade Pay: 1900/2000


6. Powerlifting [Women]
No. of Post: 01

Position: 84 kg category
Grade Pay: 1900/2000


7. Volleyball [Men]
No. of Post: 03

Position: Centre Blocker-1, Lebero-1 & All Rounder-1
Grade Pay: 1900/2000


8. Weightlifting [Men/ Women]
No. of Post: 02 [Men-1, Women-1]

Position: Men- 61 kg category, Women- 59 kg category.
Grade Pay: 1900/2000



PAY LEVEL: Level- 2 OR Level- 3 of Pay Matrix as per 7" Pay Commission.

# Note: There is no reservation for SC/ST & OBC being a sub-quota. However, the candidates claiming to belong to SC/ST/OBC communities are required to submit photocopy of Caste Certificate as per Annexure- C&D.

QUALIFICATION: For appointment in Grade Pay 1900/2000 (Level- 2 OR Level- 3 of Pay Matrix as per 7 Pay Commission):

• 10 pass for the post of Technician- III. However. the training period for such Sports quota appointees will be 3 years. unless they possess ITI qualification in the relevant Trade, in which case it will be 6 months.

Or

• 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination for the posts of Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC).

AGE: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01-01-2020 (between 02-01-1995 to 01-01-2002). No age relaxation (upper or lower) shall be permissible for recruitment through Open Advertisement. 

# Proof of Age viz., Matriculation certificate issued by a recognised board or equivalent must be submitted as a proof of date of birth.

HOW TO APPLY: Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria should apply as per application format given at Annexure-A by the candidate in his/her own handwriting on a good quality A-4 size plain paper along with two recent (taken within last two months) passport size photographs duly self-attested without wearing any wig, cap or coloured glasses.
