DC Office Majuli Recruitment 2020 - Details:

1. Junior Assistant

No. of Post: 02 [UR-1, OBC-1]

Qualification: 

- Graduate in Arts/ Science/ Commerce or equivalent degree.

- Candidates must have proficiency in basic Computer Applications like MS Windows, Linux, MAC, Excel, PowerPoint, DTP (English/ Assamese) and Internet processing etc.

- Certificate/ diploma for 6 months in Computer Application.

Scale of Pay: (PB-II), Rs.14,000-60,500/- + GP- Rs.6,200/-

Selection Procedure:

Eligible candidates will have to appear in a Written Examination followed by a Computer Proficiency Test. The candidates qualifying in the Written Test must produce all original testimonials for verification at the time of Computer Proficiency Test.

The appointment will be made after necessary Police Verification, document verification and Medical Examination as per the procedure. There will be no viva-voce (interview).

Subjects for Written Examination:
- General English (75), General Knowledge (50), Quantitative Aptitude (25) - 150 Marks.
- Knowledge of Computer - 50 Marks.
- Language skill in Assamese - 50 Marks.
- Computer Proficiency Test (Practical) - 50 marks.

Age Limit: 

Not less than 18 years and not more than 44 years as on 01.01.2020. The Upper Age limit is relaxable for candidates of SC & ST etc as per the existing rules.

Issue of Admit Cards:

Call letters/ Admit Card for written test and computer proficiency test will be sent/ intimated to eligible candidates through email/SMS & also will be notified through the official website (https://majuli.gov.in). All applicants are to mandatorily give their email and a working mobile no. for such communications. The candidates can download their Admit Cards from the website (https://majuli.gov.in).
